In Be Still My Soul, we follow a trio of dancers through an aged and holy church. From the balconies above to the labyrinth painted across the sanctuary floor, their dynamic journeys unfold through a blend of speed and stillness, lifts and reaches, searching and surrender, bodies carving and careening throughout the space with clean, deliberate lines amidst shifting shadows and stained-glass light. Settling at last in the labyrinth, the echoes of the sanctuary, struggle, and solitude resound.
