Mariah Anton-Arters  is a New York-based freelance dance artist who holds a BFA in contemporary dance from UNC School of the Arts. Mariah frequently works with the Merce Cunningham Trust and had the immense honor of performing in their centennial event, “Night of 100 Solos…” at BAM. She also works with Liz Gerring Dance, Cornfield Dance, Jody Oberfelder Dance Projects, Dance Heginbotham, Christopher Williams Dance, The Moving Architects, and Skyla Schreter Dance, among others. Mariah has been entrusted as designated Dance Captain on many occasions and also serves as a Rehearsal Director, having set works at Ailey-Fordham, Hofstra University, and the Guggenheim Museum. Mariah also teaches ballet and is a certified Cunningham Technique teacher and Progressing Ballet Technique educator. She aspires to continue her career in dance education for years to come.
